About

My big passion is second-hand shopping, personal style and quirky things. You can often find me rummaging through London’s many thrift stores…..well, when I’m not in Singapore that is. I get sweaty palms just by thinking about all the fabulous finds waiting to be found. And I still dream of spotting a vintage Chanel in a dusty corner. Bleak books, rock music and movies (especially the scary ones) are also on my Love List.

Early on I dreamt about becoming a librarian. How wonderful it would be to wake up, go to work and sit there, surrounded by books all day long. Later on I wanted to become a psychologist. After a couple of  years in Paris I ended up with a BA in Art History/Cultural Journalism and post-graduate studies in Modern Culture. I have worked in communication and journalism for the last ten years, mainly as a journalist at Berlingske Tidende, one of the main newspapers in Denmark.

Three Four= number of countries I have called my home. Denmark, France, England and now Singapore. I have also lived in Switzerland – but only for a couple of months and I was drunk most of the time, so that does not really count. I love to travel and dream of living in New York.

Ten Twelve = number of years I have known my amazing husband. We met at a rock club in Copenhagen on a cold and snowy December night in 1999. He proposed in Tokyo in 2007 and we got married, Elvis-style, in Las Vegas in 2008.

Errrrrmmm…..guess I just wanted this to start with an E. One day I want to be the female version of Stephen King and sit on the porch in front of my bat-fenced mansion in Maine and type out one scary novel after the other.
