My little sister spotted this denim shirt on a wind-swept rack outside one of the many clothes shops in the small beach town Løkken. It’s from Danish brand Vero Moda, which specialises in affordable and fashionable clothing, without too many frills. It was heavily discounted so I only paid 6 pounds for it. I like that it looks like something straight out of a charity shop and fondly remember owning an almost identical shirt back in the early 90s.

Northern Sky

I love how the sky seems to be everywhere you look in Vendsyssel. It’s particularly beautiful and expressive when it joins forces with the North Sea. I actually considered packing my bathing suit before leaving London, but quickly changed my mind when I read the weather forecast: very windy with rain. The rough summer weather provided some dramatic cloud formations and wild waves which I enjoyed from at safe distance.
